| ![]() Brita Velvetta arrived safely at the Museum in Burlingame on February 18, 1998 inside her luxurious, pink PezPort. When we asked Brita why her PezPort has the word "CHUBS" embossed on the top, she explained it stood for Carry Her Unharmed, Briskly & Safely. Brita was very anxious to visit the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area, and wasn't going to let El Nino, sinkholes and mud slides spoil her fun! |
![]() Escorted by her new friend Bif, unofficial mascot of the San Francisco 49ers football team, Brita visits San Francisco's most popular landmark. Bif explained that the bridge was built between 1933-37, it is 4200 feet long and it carries six traffic lanes 220 feet above the water. Brita nodded politely, stifled a small yawn, rolled her eyes and said "That's nice. Let's do something exciting!!" |

| ![]() Riding a Cable Car is on top of everbody's "must-do" list when visiting San Francisco. After a lengthy discussion (and a free Peppermint Pez dispenser), the Cable Car operator agreed to let Brita ring the bell. After 7 miles of ringing "Rice-A-Roni...The San Francisco Treat!", the other tourists convinced Brita and Bif to participate in other exciting activities. |
![]() There are only a few activities available to the Extremely Height Challenged visitor. In her never ending quest to experience life at it's most exciting, Brita agreed to go Crab Wrangling. Bif cheered and yelled support from the sidelines as Brita rode the "wild crustacean" for over 20 minutes! Winded, but never tired, Brita then asked Bif if he knew of good restaurant nearby. Bif happily offered "How about dinner and dancing!!" |

| As soon as Brita and Bif arrived at Club Soda, Bif introduced Brita to one of the club's regulars--Rocko. Rocko has a very mysterious past, and very little is known about him. We do know that he is a retired night watchman for the Arthur Murray Dance Studios, and he has relatives up north. He is also very charming. When he makes his appearance at Club Soda, he always wears his white Disco suit. Bif, still suffering from a pulled leg muscle, suggested Brita and Rocko dance. And boy, did they!! They made a fantastic couple, and danced for hours. They even won First Place that night for Best Dancers! Rocko graciously gave Brita the Blue Ribbon they had both won. On the way back to the museum, Bif stopped on top of scenic Potrero Hill and showed Brita the beautiful, San Francisco skyline at night.
Brita got a good night's sleep at the museum. She awoke the next day refreshed and ready for her trip to her next Pez Pal in Savage Maryland. |
